The company is locally owned and operated by John Moore who joined Metro in 1994 and is now the sole owner. With a degree in Business Management from Florida State University and a professional background working in both financial analysis and real estate development, John is equipped with the vital skills required to manage the business. John focuses on business development, sales and marketing, holds the Company’s roofing license, and is involved in the daily management of the company.
Metro is uniquely positioned to help property managers, building owners and facility managers deal with the entire ‘building skin’—from interior to exterior from roof to below-grade issues, the company is able to handle most any problems a building could face. The company is a one-stop shop for any commercial project! As a building envelope specialist, Metro can provide quick, responsive service and offer comprehensive options with preventative maintenance alternatives for all areas of a building.

Metro Property Services is staffed by construction professionals who focus on completing each project on time and on budget—safely. All company technicians have been background checked and drug-tested and are considered reliable, professional individuals. The company utilizes available technology to improve on-site efficiency thereby reducing costs to customers.
Additionally, Metro Property Services employs Master Rappellers who have been specially trained in one of only three rappelling schools in the entire United States. The Rappellers can reach hard to access areas where lifts or other equipment cannot go. Metro’s customers know they can rely on technicians to find and repair the leak areas preventing further building damage.
The company has a recognizable client list including locally owned and national commercial real estate management companies, condo associations, and general contractors. Company Insurance and Licensing
Customers can rest easy using Metro Property Services because we are a team of qualified construction professionals. Additionally, Metro has acquired high limits of insurance with recognizable insurance companies to ensure customers’ properties are protected while we are working. Our policies include workers compensation, general liability and auto insurance.
Metro Property Services is also licensed in the state of Florida as both a General Contractor and Roofing Contractor so Metro can handle a variety of projects varying in complexity.

Our Employees Make the Difference
Metro Property Services President, John Moore, believes its employees make the difference! Our team is made up of employees, not independent contractors, so it can invest in its employees from job and safety training, to benefits, uniforms, and advanced technology to improve communication and efficiency.
Training
All new employees attend a new hire orientation where they complete the proper paperwork and participate in a variety of safety training such as fall protection and lift equipment training. Following orientation, employees have extensive training in fall protection, ladder and lift safety, and hazard communication. Throughout their time with Metro, employees attend additional safety training including first aid, CPR, and OSHA10.
Additional Requirements
Additionally, our team of employees is background checked and drug tested. This ensures we are providing quality employees on all customer job sites. Metro employees wear company-branded clothing and drive vehicles with Metro’s logos to easily identify them while onsite or on the road.
